Last week we shared a video featuring Drexel Heritage's Carl Bundy, the senior vice president of product development. Carl was excited to introduce one of our newest collections, At Home in the Wine Country, available in Drexel Heritage stores. Now learn about how Carl and his team chose the finishes, wood and veneers for this beautiful, rustic collection, and be sure to join us next week as we reveal the latest and greatest from Drexel Heritage during spring High Point Market.
We're getting very excited about spring High Point Market in April, but before we get ahead of ourselves, we want to take a moment to formally introduce to you one of our newest collections that debuted during Market in October -- At Home in the Wine Country. Join us as we catch up with Carl Bundy, the senior vice president of product development, to learn about Drexel Heritage's newest interpretation of the "sophisticated farmhouse," now available in Drexel Heritage stores!
"The men's wear being worn in New York is sending early signals that the era of dressing down is over," writes Bill Cunningham.
In February, we posted a blog about how tweed is making a comeback. Just a few short weeks later, we were excited to catch this On the Street article in the New York Times, because as it turns out, Cunningham is "seriously" a fan of tweed, too.
He writes, "This winter, Harris tweed is a winner. Tweed sports jackets and suits are doubling as outerwear..." And it's not only men who are sporting this timeless trend. Women are also dressing the part, which, Cunningham writes, has "gotten out of hand with too many choices."
At Drexel Heritage, we think you can never have too many choices when it comes to your furniture. With tweed upholstery in burnt-orange, beiges, browns and more, there's a little something for everyone!
In our last post, we shared a video from October High Point Market featuring Denise Alala, vice president of upholstery design, and our newest collection Dalliance. In part two of this mini-series, we'll take a look at one of the fabulous pieces from this "fresh, young and flirty" collection, as well as learn more about one of Drexel's newest custom upholstery fabrics (Did you know it's also available in blue/green?).
