On Thursday, June 7, Thomasville’s Manchester, MO location was featured in a fun, local HGTV-like TV show called, “The Great Design Rescue.” KMOV-Channel 4’s Virginia Kerr hosted with Interior Designer, Jessie Miller, solving a young family’s design challenge. The show’s premise was a tight budget revamp of a living room, so Jessie talked about designer secrets like looking for floor samples to stay within budget. The Thomasville store received front and center camera time including a shopping trip inside the store, with the host and designer looking at many items, including demonstrating the adjustable Apprentice Table from the Reinventions collection, close-ups on a bright shag rug and then on to purchasing wall sconces, a rug and two lamps. And Jessie referred to Thomasville as “the place we are going to get items that will last this family for the long run.”
Thomasville Designer, Shannon Craig, was shown on camera and behind the scenes, Store Manager, Tammy Kavanaugh, went above and beyond to make sure the segment went perfectly.
